Tonight’s wine tasting in the shop features Brice Jourdain of Chateau l’Argentier. Brice & his parents Élisabeth and François make lovely wines from Langudeoc-Roussillon, on an estate the family has owned and operated since 1937. François is originally from Santenay, Burgundy, and makes fine, silky, wines with great aging potential. They work with indigenous grapes such as Cinsault, Carignan, Aramon, Grenache, but also have one plot of Cabernet Sauvignon, just for the hell of it. These wines are really well made, and are great values. The rosé of Aramon is a new favorite of ours; we think you’ll love it too!
