Wednesday, April 18th, 5-6:30PM
Tonight in the shop, 5-6:30PM, meet Ethan Joseph, head winemaker at Shelburne Vineyards, and its sub-label Iapetus, which we’ll taste this evening. Iapetus is a new, experimental, place-driven project of minimalist wine-making named after the ancient ocean that once covered the present-day Champlain Valley. This is how it’s pronounced and here’s an article on Shelburne & Iapetus if you’re looking to dig in a little more before meeting Ethan tonight. We hope you can swing by for a taste of these cool New England wines.
Ethan heads to Fortnight after visiting with us, so there’s extra opportunity to get to know these wines and the winemaker.
