Abadia de San Quirce 6M Ribera del Duero 2018

21 hectare property established in 1998. The ages of the vines are between 15 and over 100 years old, from pre-phylloxera vines planted in the year 1900. Being such an old vineyard, it is divided into numerous plots with different types of soils (sandy, limestone, clay loam) producing grapes that, even being the same variety, are totally different due to the character that their particular terroir gives them. Yields are kept quite low, and the oldest vines only produce one or two bunches of grapes per year.

All work is done by hand.
