At 15 hectares total, the small DOC of Terre di Libarna encompasses the highest elevation growing region for Timorasso, the rare, white Piemontese grape known for its aromatics and structure. After facing near extinction in the early 1990s, Timorasso has seen a resurgence in Piedmont, but it is by no means ubiquitous.
