Troupis is a 16 acre, family owned property that was first established in the 1970s as a nursery that sold flowers and fruit bearing trees. It’s located at 700 meters elevation on the Mantinia plateau, in the region of Fteri, or “fern”, on the Peloponnese Peninsula in southern Greece. Tasos Troupis originally made wine for the family table, but this eventually grew into the small production and wine-making facility he and his children operate today. All of their wine is from estate grown fruit, and is bottled at their property.
This is the Moschofilero that Tasos remembers his father and grandfather making.
