Monzingen is the most important wine village in the upper Nahe river valley; Emrich-Schönleber is one of the leading producers in the village & owns much of the vineyards. This shows ripe & juicy fruit balanced by a mineral core.
Racy, mouthwatering, a balance of fruit, acidity, and wet-stone minerality. Will mellow and flesh out with time in bottle, but it's a snappy little number in its youth.
This still Elbling is brisk, bright, minerally, citrus & acid-driven. Pairs well with salty and fatty, and makes for a great cheese fondue wine. Organic.
Delicate, dry, energetic, precise. 3rd generation Rheingau estate founded in 1893. Organic. Fermentations are w/wild yeasts in pressurized tanks (quick & warm) then racked into barrel for minimum of 2 yrs.
