Very steep, shallow, blue slate single vineyard. 9% abv, medium sweet with balancing lip-smacking acidity and rocky minerality. Lemon/lime, green apple, peachy w/low-toned savory umami throughout.
Riesling planted on steep, blue-slate hillside vineyards. No chemicals, hand-harvested, minimal intervention. Off-dry, balanced by zesty acidity and stony minerality.
The entry level Chardonnay from loess soil from plots south of Staufen and the Kaiserstuhl. Pressed as whole cluster and fermented in used barrels from different size. Aged for one year in barrel and another half year in stainless steel on the full lees.
