This zesty sparkling Chenin is from 40 year old vines, fermented and aged in 9 & 10 year old barrels with a dosage of just 3g/L. On the nose it’s tropical fruit and lemon cream. On the palate there’s candied lime, chalky minerality, and a creamy finish.
Off-dry, pretty Grolleau Noir made via Methode Ancestrale. Notes of strawberry & raspberry mingle with a light touch of citrus; slightly creamy texture, refreshing. 9% abv. Have it with chocolate, fruit tarts, mild cheeses, or as aperitif.
